Control This! is Orlando's hottest ska, rocksteady & reggae band. After touring the globe for 9+ years with 2-tone ska legends The Toasters (NYC), sax player and lead singer Jeff Richey decided to re-discover the root of his passion for Jamaican music by starting a traditional ska and early reggae band. By focusing on Jamaican oldies and filling the band with players of diverse musical backgrounds, Control This! has developed a unique and identifiable sound. From the early sounds of the Skatalites, to the bubbling and bouncing sounds of rocksteady, to the easy rocking sounds of lover's rock, Control This! touches on all the nuances of early Jamaican music while providing a modern edge & great on-stage energy. Audiences can look forward to original music from the band's debut album, 'Long Road' on Anti-Authority Records as well as covers of The Skatalites, Dennis Brown, Gregory Isaacs & The Clash. www.facebook.com/ControlThis/
