Cartoons, commercials, video games. Spinning around in circles after eating a big bowl of sugary cereal - Backyard Superheroes are the soundtrack of Saturday mornings. Mixing horns, loud guitars, sing-a-long vocals, and louder guitars, the Backyard Superheroes have been rocking out since 2012. Having played hundreds of shows already, they continue to bring their DIY nerd-wave ska to the masses through a frantic stage performance. Going to a Backyard Superheroes show could best be described as going to a marching band pep rally hosted by Red Bull and Guitar Hero. You never know what kind of antics they’ll be up to, but one thing is for sure- listening to the Backyard Superheroes will certainly leave you with a smile on your face as you come down from your sugar high.
