Orange County ska-punk band The Deplorables are yet another example that ska is not dead. Starting out as just an idea while attending San Juan Hills High School, guitarist Luke Pugliese, and bassist David Duplissey, made plans to form a band. After looking for people to complete the lineup, drummer Kameron Tyler, & singer Lindsay Macdonald joined the band and The Deplorables became a reality. Practicing in a Crossfit Gym after hours. In December of 2016, the band headed into the legendary Saltmine Studios in Mesa, Arizona and recorded their first 2 singles. Influenced by many different bands including HB Surround Sound, Rancid, X, The Interrupters, No Doubt, Reel Big Fish, Channel 3, Obituary, & many others, The Deplorables were able to find a sound slightly different than most Orange County ska-punks. After a day in the studio, the first 2 songs, Sox & Wolfpack, were finished.
