The Hempsteadys are an 11-piece reggae-punk from New London, CT. Equal parts Punk Rock, Two-Tone Ska, and Bruce Springsteen, with a heavy street, funk, and world beat influences, Hempsteadys call it a dance party for the working class...but they've also been called "The P-Funk of Street Punk" and "The Wu-Tang Clan of Ska Bands". A sample of bands The Hempsteadys have shared the stage with would be Andrew W.K., The Slackers, The Skints, We Are Scientists, Mates of State, The Aggrolites, Leftover Crack, The Toasters, Pietasters, and Mephiskapheles. 'Rudy Comes From The Streets (live)' is a sample of one of the songs to be released on The Hempsteady's next album, "Séance! Séance!" due out later in 2018.
