about
In case you didn't know, Sideshow Luke Perry is the greatest punk bank ever. Get on it, n00b. After releasing the seminal and massively influential "Rag On a Stick" e.p. in 1999 (limited to one burned CD copy), Sideshow Luke Perry was alternately dubbed "the Operation Ivy of the east side of Madison," "the Minor Threat of the Midwest," and "the Ramones-a of Verones-a." More recently, SSLP has been described as “like if Tim Armstrong fronted the Interrupters, but bad.” According to Lou Reed (or Avril Lavigne, depending on who you believe), "only four people heard 'Rag on a Stick,' but every one of them started a band." Like the most rocking venereal disease ever, Sideshow Luke Perry flares up roughly every decade to show every other punk band on the planet how shit's ‘sposed to be done. Members of Sideshow Luke Perry have performed with such inferior rock ensembles as I Voted For Kodos, Schmoolio, Firefight, Flipsyde, Kid Icarus, Something To Do, BRP, Debbie Does Malice, Motion City Soundtrack, and the Twin Cities-based Fallout Boy, not the mega-famous glitch-pop band Fall Out Boy. The forthcoming "Rag On a Stick III" will be released one way or another, most likely by taping over Spin Doctors, Ace of Base, and Green Jello tapes from St. Vinny's.
