Bio: The Pandemics are an 8 piece veritable ska army of scene veterans & new comers alike from New York City. They have one shared goal: to spread their infectious brand of NY Ska Punk to the masses until skanking in the streets causes a mass hysteria. Symptoms include toe tapping & an urge to get down! Having played their first show at the tail end of 2010, The Pandemics hit the ground running and haven't slowed down since! Having supported some of the best ska bands on the planet, like Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra (Japan), The Skatalites (Jamaica), The English Beat (UK), Melbourne Ska Orchestra (Australia), Oreskaband (Japan), Pilfers, The Slackers, The Skints (UK) and Fishbone (just to name a few!), The Pandemics have also had the opportunity to back prominent artists within the scene as well like Pete Cooper (of The Porkers (Australia)) and Roddy 'Radiation' Byers (of The Specials (UK)). Most recently The Pandemics just wrapped up a short run supporting the legendary Skatalites on the north eastern US leg of their 2016 world tour, and are making preparations to release their first vinyl release on a 7" split single in early 2017 on Lonely Atom Records!
