Black over Blue is a song dedicated to all the People of Color who lost their lives this year via police brutality. The song questions why Americans think of POC as a threat. It also calls out our elected officials. This song was banned and protested against in Tennessee, as many Tennesseans reported it as hate speech toward the current presidential administration, as McDonald’s lyric video shows the harsh realities of being black in America.
