about

Apathy Cycle was formed in 2009 by Gregg Armen, formerly of the punk band Broken Society and the A-F Records elecronic punk band Intro5pect. After Intro5pect, Gregg briefly filled in for bands like Leftover Crack and Morning Glory until he found a stable lineup for Apathy Cycle. In 2011, an early version of Apathy Cycle opened for Citizen Fish and Krum Bums for a west coast U.S. tour. This early version of Apathy Cycle recorded the Clockwork County EP in 2013. After the Clockwork County EP, and some lineup changes, Pat Gribbin (Ataxic Nation) and later, Andy Laughlin (Broken Society, Alarms), joined Apathy Cycle and recorded the Critical Thinking EP in 2014, with a U.S. tour soon to follow. In 2020, Apathy Cycle finally released their self-titled full length, which was recorded at the Blasting Room in Fort Collins.
