If you’re looking for the quintessential OC Ska-Punk sound, you’ll definitely find it with The Step Daughters! -Formed in early 2019 The Step Daughters consist of Erin Smith-Norrick (vocals), Eric Vedder (bass), Jeremy Sandoval (guitar), Timothy Calacsan (keys), Kevin Erney (drums), and Colin Darby (sax). And don’t let their short time on the scene fool you, this group is comprised of all experienced musicians and have been linked to a handful of other great local acts at one time or another. Their track “F’in with my Head” held a spot in the “Ska Parade Top 5” for over 8 consecutive weeks and has been featured on Ricky Menace’s “Taxi TV.” While some of their other songs like their cover of “Fat Randy” and their original tune “OVER IT” have been featured in some great compilations like “Puro Desmadre” a Voodoo Glowskulls Tribute album, and SKALLOWEEN 2020! But whatever The Step Daughters has coming up for them in the future, its bound to be just like them- An experience you don’t want to miss!
